We had some guests for dinner, and when I went to change before they arrived, I was wholly unprepared to be accosted with a tawse and a camera when I was fresh and dripping from the shower. This was the coldest, wettest tawsing ever.

Oh owwwwwwwwwww, that sounds horrible. In this weather? Spankings should WARM YOU UP, not keep you cold and wet and shivering!
