‘She’s spanked, Jim’: Science Fiction & Fantasy in Spanking Films

“Spanking Devils” from the other day made me want to sit down and write a list of spanking movies with a supernatural element in them.

Sci-fi, fantasy and fairy-tale spanking videos are not very common, perhaps for the same reason that paranormal erotica is not very common: even an ordinary spanking scenario is rather far-fetched. It requires strong suspension of disbelief, and an explanation to the viewer as to why the situation described is even vaguely realistic. Any more explanations and exposition on top of that to set up the paranormal element - and the viewers start to get frustrated, demanding that you get to the point: bare the bottoms and start to smack them.

That said, I’ve managed to recall a few full-length videos and short movies for sci-fi & fantasy geeks like me.

————————————-

The Noise (Lupus Pictures) - from 'Spanking Model Speaks'

A tribute to George Orwell: the System protects you (unless you’re a pretty girl, in which case you get flogged). (Reviewed here.)

Death and the Mermen: they have a thing for whipped schoolgirls with nettles in their panties. (Reviewed here.) (Stills here.)

A Warlock's Revenge (Lupus Pictures) - from 'Spanking Model Speaks'

A warlock falls for a bratty princess, and wreaks all sorts of havoc when she rejects him. (Stills here)

Fairy Tale (Lupus Pictures) - from 'Spanking Model Speaks'

The tale of princesses, chambermaids and magic rings.

Fairy Tale: The Magic Purse (Lupus Pictures) - from 'Spanking Model Speaks'

A wizard and a soldier instil good morals in a wealthy rural family

The Fairy Gothmother (Northern Spanking)

If ever a fairy gothmother offers to fulfil three of your wishes… for the sake of your bottom, refuse.

Goldilocks and the Three Bare Bottoms (Northern Spanking) - from 'Spanking Model Speaks'

Cheeky fairy-tale madams have their bottoms warmed by their respective fairy-tale guardians.

Pixie's Fantasies (Punished Brats) - from 'Spanking Model Speaks'

Fantasy and fairy-tales with a spanking twist (Reviewed here.)

Space Girls (CP Entertainment) - from 'Spanking Model Speaks'

Naughty little aliens crash their spaceship in the countryside, and have to be chased around by a law enforcement officer from outer space.

Being Keith Jones (Spanking Epics) - from 'Spanking Model Speaks'

The key to Mr Jones’s kinky inclinations is in his past lives, but a cheeky hypno-therapist will draw out the secret - and pay the price.

The Ghost and Maggie Moore (Spanking Epics) - from 'Spanking Model Speaks'

A ghost haunts a small hotel, causing all female guests to be spanked.

——————————————

If the list is missing any videos, I’d like to find out about them - leave me a comment! (Though bear in mind that I’ve deliberately left out the “dream sequence” videos, because plotting there doesn’t, strictly speaking, have anything to do with the fantastic: just as in other genres, it serves to explain away some of the general unplausibility of the scenarios.)

When I started to compile this list, I hadn’t set out to make any conclusions, but it looks like people who make paranormal spanking videos can be said to have either or both of the following mindsets:

Oh yes, and don’t forget the best mindset of them all - even though I don’t know whether it applies to any of these esteemed companies:

I soon as I read the first sentence I was like, “oh yeah, Lupus/Rigid-East totally does that sort of thing.”

Have to admit, it’s normally not quite my thing though I think John Benson may be converting me. However, I have my moments where the fairy-tale/fantasy thing does work, and I think I even wrote some proto-spanking stories in that vein when I was kid.

And a good story-line is always important. I think that’s why I like John Benson so much even if Sci-fi doesn’t usually appeal to me. LOL — in fact, the one story I’ve written that had a fantasy element to it (a guardian angel) I got a comment that I spent too much time on the plot! My thought: go somewhere else for your spanking erotica fix then ya perv! ;)

What color does a green dancing chick’s butt turn after a long OTK? (sounds like a joke, but there isn’t a punch line.)

Great list Adele! Thanks for compiling it. At first I was thinking, why is “And For You I Will Come As Well” on the list, then I remembered that odd supernatural character appearing throughout, what was he some sort of fairy? I enjoy a good supernatural fantasy once in awhile, breaks up the monotony.

    Cheeky hypnotherapist, huh? :-)

SpaceGirls was so cute! I’m not into F/F, but I could certainly appreciate the cleverness and creativity that went into that production.

This is such an awesome post. I really, really love this blog.

As for the science fiction/fantasy sub-genre in spanking erotica, somehow this always turns me cold. I love present and past, but future and “up there” (space) seem like alien environments to my spanko imagination.

Plus I really don’t like Lupus. As I have said elsewhere, their use of anti-semitic stereotypes spoiled the fun for me a long time ago.

Interesting… btw some members of Lupus team are Jews. :-)

Natty - People actually take the time to write and complain about plot? Wow.

Ivar - Hmm, it does sound like their should be a punch line. Hmm. Next time I see a film with a green girl in it, I’ll let you know!

Juju - Yep, there were all sorts of odd-creatures in that film. Still not sure why, but there you are…

Erica - Are you implying you are not cheeky? ‘Cause you sure act like you are ;)

Aunty - Thanks *blush* I guess you’re with the majority where sci-fi is concerned. How about fantasy and historicals? If Lupus are not your thing, the best for you would be Spanking Epics: they have comparable attention to detail, but also, because they have Western minds behind their operation, they are often easier to digest.

I’m not keen to have the “What is it with Jewish characters in Lupus” discussion here on this post, though it would be interesting to have it at some point…

Did I inspire this post? :-? Good list. I seem to remember reading about a video that featured a genie… [checking] Here it is: http://www.spreview.net/spankinggenie.html

Also, they aren’t movies, but John Benson (www.unseemly.org) writes great Sci-Fi (among other things).

“I’m not keen to have the “What is it with Jewish characters in Lupus” discussion here on this post, though it would be interesting to have it at some point…”

Oh I hope you do have that discussion at some point. The only Lupus movie I’ve ever seen aside from the stills and trailers at their website was one of their early ones about six years ago. Didn’t realize there was a possible anti-semetic motif.

I think jony was saying that some of the producers are Jewish, not that they’re anti-Semitic. I must admit to not caring very much (at all in fact) either way about their race.

I have seen The Inspection, a more recent film, and it’s a high quality, professionally produced production with a decent soundtrack and some rather amusing lines in the script (despite the subtitles).

Just a quickie on Sci-Fi spanking. Three words…. Seven of Nine. The best bum in spandex in the entire universe and so haughty too.

And I’m a Hypocrite because essentially its a kids program. Shame one me ;-(

    Hey there-
Thanks for mentioning our movies the Being Keith Jones Trilogy and The Ghost and Maggie Moore. “Ghost” is now shipping and everyone seems to love it! If you are interested in promotional copies to review, we might be able to send you some. Contact me if you are interested ;)

  13. Adele on November 25th, 2006 4:45 pm

Kate - you bet I’m interested. The technical term for my level of interest is “gagging for it” ;)
