Fake Spanking Filmmakers

You would have thought it’s casting season in the spanking video land. In the space of last week I got about a million separate invitation to come and be spanked on camera. (The normal rate at which they land in my inbox is about one every couple of weeks. Last week? Nineteen.)

As usual, though, this wealth of communication boils down to not very much. The majority of these enquiries come from people who have never shot a spanking movie, and don’t intend to shoot one, either, but they would very much like a private assignation with me (known in the professional scene slang as a 1-2-1). I’m far too shy for 1-2-1s, so I don’t do them. However, too many of my correspondents think that bringing a camera to their 1-2-1 magically turns it into a film shoot, and helps convince me to show up and bend over their lap.

Well, it doesn’t. It just gives you a nice tape to remember your scene by.

A couple of pointed questions usually gets rid of the cowboys who are just trying to see if the pretty girl has any brain, and leaves me with the promising ones.

Out of nineteen letters last week, three are from genuine film producers. Out of these three, one is in the US (not an option for me), and only two are worth the time I’m going to spend finding out if we suit each other’s needs.

Actually, two possibles out of nineteen seems like a huge result to me. Even one would have been pretty damn impressive. The world is full of cowboys, and not so full of  spanking filmmakers and photographers.

If you’re a potential cowboy, remember: there are plenty of beautiful, kinky spanking models who also do 1-2-1s (listed, say, on Spankeefinder.) Some of them are even happy to let you bring a camera to your appointment. (Ask first.)

It’s much healthier to book a meeting with one of these girls than to pester me. Pestering me lands you on the blog, makes you a subject of model gossip, and automatically slashes credibility of anything else you have to say. Don’t be a cowboy.

Wow, it’s tough at the top, I can see that. Glad I’m not a spanking filmmaker - fake or otherwise. (I was a press photographer at one time though - does this count? LOL!) Take it easy.. ;-)

Ick. That’s really quite creepy Adele. :(

If you were really mean you’d name and shame. But then you’re a very classy spanko chick! :)

    Adele,

I think there’s a segment of the population who simply doesn’t pay attention. Anyone who has ever read my blog even once should know that a 1-2-1 with me is never, ever going to happen. Yet, I get solicitations for precisely that. I delete them and move on.

BTW, I have to admit that when I first read the title of your post, I started giggling. I thought, “Who would want to film a fake spanking?” OK, I’m a ditz…

    Hugs,
    Bonnie

The majority of the stills, film and video shot in the spanking realm is not only faked, it’s also just bad technique. Bad camera angles, terrible composition, crooked and skewed horizons, out of focus stills, video looped (repeated) multiple times in the same production and just a few manifestations of the terrible work that’s out there. Many of the still and video monkeys out there are just a ‘cowboy’ with a camera; they know nothing about composition, and definitely nothing about lighting a scene - indoors or outdoors.

It’s time some professionals start working in the spanking visuals production business to lend some credibility to the work that’s produced.

I admire your ability to address this topic without any of the snarkiness it tends to elicit in me. It’s such an odd phenomenon. Most of my experience of people who are into spanking is that they are thoughtful, intelligent and articulate - enough to have challenged convention and worked out their own kink to some extent. Yet every girl who publicises herself receives this constant stream of ignorant requests from people who think they can trick her into making an exception for them.

That said, I have had noticably fewer emails like this since writing the above post. Perhaps snarkiness has its merits after all :)
