Anticipating the Switch
This is one of the best cartoon punishments I’ve ever seen. The preparation and anticipation here are beautiful: I shivered along with the girl all the way through. On the one hand, I feel sorry for her, and on the other hand, I want to be her.

Spanking and the ‘Sexual Revolution’?
Today I happened upon an interview with one Richard Croker, author of “The Boomer Century”. The article concentrates (or tries to) on examining how Croker’s generation has ‘transformed sex’.
Never mind the interview, though; he says some bizarrely conservative things (“in the African-American and immigrant communities, seven out of ten children born today are born to single mothers. Seven out of every ten. The prospects for those children are dim.” Dude, really? It has more to do with ’sexual rebellion’, than it does with, I don’t know, discrimination maybe? *shakes head*) The topic of the conversation got me wondering, though.
Did the ’sexual revolution’ of the 60s have any impact on the spanking community? The way people experienced kink - be it inside their own heads or with each other?
I have no idea, and don’t know where to read up on it, but I’d like to know.

Beverly Bacci’s Blog
Beverly Bacci, a model you may know from “Punished Brats” videos, has started a new blog. It promises to be an interesting read, particularly because she shoots photos and videos for sites catering for a vast variety of fetishes and fantasies. Some you may not have known about, and some you may not want to know about, as well.
Here, for example, is a curious quote from a post about a shoot for a “murder fetish” site. (Eh?) :
…the other day was my first drowning scene. I’d been instructed to practice and as I gasped and choked away my Saturday night in preparation for the shoot, I was thankful for this advice. I’m guessing, Beverly’s blog will be an excellent test for many people’s open-mindedness.

The last clip of spanked kittens I posted appealed to lots of people’s childhood memories, so I can’t pass up this one.

Those smart teenagers
I have this widget on my Google homepage called “Human sexuality news”. It gives me what it perceives to be interesting headlines in this regard. (Most of them actually link to very dull news stories, but you never know when something useful will crop up, do you?)

Family and Secrets
I’ve just had the following conversation with my mother:
Her: How was your weekend, honey?
Me: Oh, we got together with some friends, had some fun.
Her: Are these your (lowered voice, so that my father doesn’t hear) kinky friends?
Me: Yes, Mum, some of them were.
Her: Well, glad you’ve enjoyed it.
What I did not say:
Yes, Mum, and a couple of my girlfriends were also there. You know, the girls I sometimes have sex with? Why, yes, I’m bisexual and polyamorous, I think I’d forgotten to mention this before. I’ve also had a discussion with a guy about shooting a movie together. One of those kinky movies I do sometimes.
I have a pretty trusting relationship with my mother, but there are some things I don’t think she could handle.
