So, my husband sends me this picture, with a caption: “What’s it worth not to send this photo on to Lupus?…”

I think, the only rational response is, you don’t suggest any such implement to any company I’m ever likely to work with, and in return I won’t stick you with a fork. Somewhere it would hurt.

Sounds like a fair trade to me, no?

Dunno about fair trade…

Can you imagine wielding that strap? It must have an enormous range of movement. How can you control it adequately without the dreaded wrapping effect? It’s too blunt for my taste, for lack of a better word.

I think Mr Haze should send it to Lupus. Otherwise, I’ll only be able to imagine your expression when shown the implement for the first time, rather than see it for real. But then, it’s not me on the end of the fork…

This looks like the Louisiana Prison Strap that was used on unruly convicts in the past. Some leather vendors make a version of it. Here’s a link to a picture:

LOL, I don’t think I would feel very safe if I knew I would get spanked and I saw the person who was going to spank me hold that monster thing…

If memory serves this photo was in the Tampa Tribune in the 1960’s. Caption read “big but legal”. This was used in the boys reformatory in Marianna Florida.

yikes. that strap is so large it exerts its own gravitational pull on naughty brats.
