The word from Abel is that adult entertainment is about to join in the 3D cinema revolution. The director Tinto Brass is planning to remake his 70s naughty film Caligula in shiny 3D. It even has whippings, I’m told. Cool, or what?

I mean, this isn’t what (the rather wonderful) 3D Kink is doing with their virtual bondage game, where you can create a girl and spank her to your heart’s content. This is more like Avatar. You go to the cinema, put on the funky specs, the lights die down…

Hang on. You need to go to the cinema to see your pr0n? I don’t think this new thing is going to catch on just yet, unless somebody is developing a 3D television and computer monitor right now.

    3D porn is currently available. It works on your computer, but require the glasses.

    There just isn’t demand for it yet. People don’t want the hassle of the glasses combined with the poor quality 3D.

    I remember back in 2003 when a few companies had 3D porn at the AEE show – just a gimmick, no demand = no supply.

    Maybe someday, but not yet.
