I’ve found the most amusing thing: profanity guidelines for the BBC forums.

Please note that derivatives of offensive words are also included on the banned word list:

• bxxxxxks – testicles
• cxxt – vagina
• fxxk – have sex
• txxt – another vagina, not twit
• wxxk – masturbate, not work

These are a little like a teacher standing in front of a class and saying: “Now, children, here are the words you are to never, ever say. If you don’t know what any of them mean, raise your hand and I’ll explain.”

Whoever wrote the list was very imaginative. I suggest that they are very nxxxxxy (badly behaved, not haughty) and need a sxxxxxxg (punishment, not w- oh, bollocks, it didn’t work. Er, I mean, testicles. Fuck, I’ve really blown it now.)
