A Show of Hands: Watching a Spanking

Whenever I spend time with other kinky people, it strikes me how individual our preferences are: we all have little things that make a scene “just right”, which may not work for other people at all.
Conversely, it’s amazing how much we can have in common. Whenever I have a fantasy that seems particularly odd and individual, I run it through a search engine – and voila, an instant cadre of kindred spirits shows up.
That’s why from time to time I will post a fantasy, or a kinky preference, or an activity, and ask you to speak up if you like it. If you feel like saying what you like about it – even better, though it isn’t a requirement.

For me this depends entirely on the person and the context :) Sometimes I find it irritating to watch other people being involved in a scene, and jealous that I’m not the one being spanked – or I find myself competing with them in not the good way. I don’t really enjoy watching scenes I’m not involved in. Group scenes, however, that are well balanced and in which you like all the people concerned, can be very different :) There’s a peculiar bond of intimacy between girls being spanked together, or one after the other, which is really arousing. Especially if I fancy the other girls.
I don’t ever tend to find it frightening to watch other girls being spanked – the whole “watching someone else be punished as part of a punishment” doesn’t really work in my head, although admittedly I’ve never done it as part of a proper roleplay scene; my experience of ‘group scenes’ tends either to be on shoots, or the more erotic sort of play, rather than scary punishment scenes. Thus far my enjoyment of watching other girls be spanked has been that of a lecherous voyeur, rather than the terrified next girl in line ;) But I’m looking forward to experimenting with sharing the fear more as well.

Yes, I like to see other people being spanked but not in my physical, r/l presence, where I think that would have been uncomfortable. I like to see pictures of you being spanked, for instance.
I like to see exclusively M/f spanking, out of which, however, I dislike father/daughter spanking scenes because I like to think of spanking as a somewhat erotic activity and it just doesn’t fit with the father/daughter model. So I always turn away from F/f spanking and F/m spanking.
My favorite set up is schoolgirl punishment, as well as husband/wife spanking.

I do enjoy it, though there is usually a slightly uncomfortable subconscious feeling; the voyeurism, as it were. I noticed that feeling was particularly pronounced at the Shadow Lane party. In small settings, its somewhat different, especially since its usually been among close friends. At the party, it was almost like, “Oh, I really shouldn’t be watching.” which is of course ridiculous. Probably had to do with the fact that I didn’t know (or even know of) many of the people I saw spanked that weekend.
But all in all, yes, I very much enjoy watching.

I actually prefer to wait in line and be next because sometimes if he or she is good as a spanker I can get an idea of what my own bottom may look like as I watch the girl before me! I’ve done it a few times and agree with Pandora that the being “in it together” thing is really special.

I watched a punitive whipping of a woman in a club once, she would not give in, and the crowd got totally silent, watching in astonishment.
Well the only live spanking(s) I witnessed was when I was a freshman and sophomore in high school (or 3rd and 4th year for you Brits I think?).
