A spanking vid I’ll make when I’m rich

You know what film I’d like to make some day? Spanking in a thunder storm. The skies are open, water is beating down, mushing up the mud underfoot, and a bedraggled girl is getting the hell whapped out of her behind, sending droplets of rain everywhere. I dare you to tell me there’s no market for this!

I don’t know that the video equipment can survive in torrential downpour, though, and I’m also not aware that any porn studio owns a rain machine. Still, if all this is technically possible, I’d like to put my name down on the list of volunteers to be thrashed in the rain.

I love spring rain. I’m not being a sappy, sentimental or girly or anything, I really do love spring rain. Especially if there’s some thunder to go with it. When it’s warm, wet and fresh outside, I feel like running outside in my cut-offs and t-shirt and running around in the street.

I’d either get arrested or get a cold, but the temptation is always, always there.

I think, if I ever have a house with my own back yard, I’ll take rain baths.

Definitely, a market for a spanking in the rain. Rain and especially thunderstorms provoke the erotic senses. Rain soaked clothes providing no cover from the electricity in the air causing your skin to tingle from the exposure. I think it would be a favorite for many.

I think it’s technically possible by just putting a plastic drape over the camera. Sound might be a problem. Her cries drowned by the water pounding in the mud. Probably need dubbing.

Just found your blog. It’s a good read. Thanks for the look behind the curtain.

    Adele,

What a splendid concept! As a longtime fan of the wet spanking, your idea truly strikes a chord with me.

I would leave the sound just as it is. As you pointed out in a previous post, a lot of the dialogue in spanking films seems rather contrived anyway.

Outdoors would be best, but studios might be concerned about the possibility of the actors or crew being struck by lightning. Then there is the problem of getting everyone in the right place at the right time for real thunderstorm. Even then, you’d probably get only one take. I think your film could be made well on a soundstage, but it would probably be expensive if you wanted to make it convincing.

In any case, it’s an excellent idea. We’d buy it!

Nikolai: I don’t know a first thing about how cameras and recording equipment work, but I suspect that running them during an electrical storm would be problematic. A handheld battery-operated camcorder might serve, but lights would just have to be switched off – and that would be odd. I’m only guessing here, though, based on a very general idea about studio equipment.

Bonnie: Oh, yes, I love the idea of leaving the sound as it is! You’d be bound to hear *something*, even if it’s an echo of a yelp.

Anyway, this film isn’t getting maid until I’m a millionnaire, and by that point I’ll know enough competent people that they’ll have to deal with the fine technical details. :)

  4. John the Spud says:

    Adele,

How about getting Mr Haze to drive out into the countryside and
find a field which is being irrigated. You could lie on the ground
getting all wet and muddy until Mr Haze comes and drags you
back to the car, throws you over the bonnet and gives you a good
    thrashing.
Otherwise, the next time you are filming in the south of England,
get into the hot-tub and get someone to water you down with a
watering can with a rose affixed.

  5. Adele says:

Yeah, Spudster, that’s right: along with the watering can, they should crash two bin lids together to make thunder :)

I’ve had plenty of wet spankings, though. Nothing but a proper thunder-lightning-black-sky-at-noon-and-rivers-of-water will do!

  6. Fesseequebec says:

Hmm, I guess the possibility of getting hit by lightning would add to the excitement….

  7. Lucy says:

Oh. My. Stars. Even the thought of trying to shoot in a thunderstorm without specialist equipment sends my blood cold. Interestingly enough, I am about to shoot my first professional short in which the end scene features a complete and torrential downpour. Still waiting to see if the more experienced “professionals” will a) let me shoot it and b) help me find a way to do it! Will keep you posted. Certainly if it’s achievable with the equipment we have then I’m first in the queue for a spanking in the rain. Though I could be talked into being the spanker instead if there’s a pretty young girl or two over my knee [cough] Adele, Niki [cough]…

  8. Adele says:

Fess, from what I remember of physics, lightning always strikes the highest point of any locality – which simply means the vid shouldn’t be shot in a field or on a hilltop. :)

Lucy – you’ll notice that I’m making this film *only* when I’m rich. Do you know why that is? That’s ’cause I’ll pay *other* people to worry about the technical side of it. I’ll just thump my wallet on the table, and whenever somebody complains about electric wires and water and lightning strikes, I’ll growl: “That’s your problem, not mine”.

So, you get your film degree, babe, and I’ll keep working on winning the lottery. :)

(Also, forgive me while my thought trails off as I imagine being over your knee. *flirt, flirt*)

  9. Lucy says:

Heh! You can flirt anytime my lovely! You wouldn’t even like to get inside *my* head on what I’d film if I were rich!

  10. Adele says:

Now, this is interesting… Do tell!

  11. Lucy McLean says:

I’ll invite you to the premier – would that do? ;-)

  12. Adele says:

Of course not. Firstly, you’re casting me in it, aren’t you? LOL Secondly, even if you’re not, it somehow sounds like it might be a while before the premiere.

  13. Batsman says:

There is a vid, I think by Calstar, called “Caning in the Rain”. It’s not terribly inspiring – the rain messes up the soundtrack. I’m sure you can do better!

  14. Adele says:

Batsman – I’m sure it’ll be easy to do better, because when I make this movie (I’ll be rich at that point, remember) I’ll hire a team of sound engineers!

    (Hey, I can dream…)
