Do you know why that is? That's 'cause I'll pay *other* people to worry about the technical side of it. I'll just thump my wallet on the table, and whenever somebody complains about electric wires and water and lightning strikes, I'll growl: "That's your problem, not mine". My. Stars. Even the thought of trying to shoot in a thunderstorm without specialist equipment sends my blood cold. Interestingly enough, I am about to shoot my first professional short in which the end scene features a complete and torrential downpour. Still waiting to see if the more experienced "professionals" will a) let me shoot it and b) help me find a way to do it! Will keep you posted. Certainly if it's achievable with the equipment we have then I'm first in the queue for a spanking in the rain.
