Answer to the puzzle

(A bunch of scorpions, Ramsey? Come to think of it, you didn’t really surprise me.)
Anyway… Tigetbutt wins the challenge: it was a paddle with holes.
I’ve got a bunch more pictures in this series, but I’ll have to post them later: my broadband at home is dead, and I can only cope with some much staring from other people in the pub as I load up the photos…

Yay! I win another T-shirt! Wait a minute, my other winning T-shirt hasn’t arrived yet…
I know, I know, I’ve got to travel to London to the undisclosed private location, tell the doorman the password, proceed to the book shelf and pull on the hard back cover of “Rudyard Kiplings Complete Verse” revealing the secret cobweb covered passageway to the dungeon. From there I take the second broken runged ladder down to the locked steel door with the placard that says “WARNING, TIGER!” and proceed inside past the poisoned darts to the wooden crate with the treasure map that will tell me where I can find my winning T-shirts.
Either that or go to your private secretary, Helen Waite.
Actually, that is a fancy expensive manufactured paddle and I’m trying to remember who makes that design. I know it’s not Rebs, Woodridge or London Tanners. I’ve seen that style somewhere…
For the full effect of a wooden paddle with holes you shouldn’t be allowed to wear thick new jeans especially not with embroidery. How are the blisters going to form? I think you two should start over but this time take off those pants! Now!
No, no. With jeans on is just fine. Go back and look at the original picture. That hurts.

http://www.spankinc.ca/ is the spanking toy site which that paddle came from. I have two from them in my collection…very nice craftmanship. I’m glad to see the holes in the paddle are beveled so the blade of the paddle doesn’t hurt Adele in an unduly fashion.
It’s good that Adele had her jeans on for this one. A paddle like that can be most painful, even across a clothed bottom.
