EU-sponsored erotica

The following is a completely vanilla piece of erotica, but I couldn’t resist posting it – because it’s an official piece of cultural advertising published by the EU.

Mr Haze commented that he’s never been happier to see his taxes go to such a worthy cause:

I can only add my name to their final appeal.

Absolutely, let’s watch European films. Let’s!

I can recommend a few titles that will make a great impact.

90% of that clip seems to be taken wholesale from the film ‘Amelie.’

    “Come together?”

Disapproving sniff. What’s wrong with these people? Every literate adult knows the spelling is “cum.”

Oh well. Back to the lychees. It’s lychee season here in Hawaii! Yay!

    Yrs in pervery, Adrian

Adrian . > is the original French text to Amour 2/Love 2 :)

Jimbo – I really don’t know upon what sources you are basing your implications, but the clip was put together by colleagues of mine and certainly was not ‘taken wholesale’ from Le Fabuleux destin d’Amélie Poulain by Jean-Pierre Jeunet..

Adele linked to ‘Love 2′ which together with ‘Love’ and other clips:’Joy’ and ‘Sadness’, was distributed at this year’s Berlinale and at the Cannes Film Festival. The rights to all the clips shown were paid for and credited. As well as Le Fabuleux destin d’Amélie Poulain Films featured in Love 2 are
Breaking the waves by Lars von Trier
La meglio gioventù by Marco Tullio Giordana
La mala educacion by Pedro Almodóvar
    Goodbye Lenin by Wolfgang Becker
Head-on (Gegen die Wand) by Regie: Fatih Akin
Breaking the waves by Lars von Trier
    The Deamers by Bernardo Bertolucci

I’ve given Adele the official EU-MEDIA link for the hi-res .wmv source.

Adrian – Sorry but my French :) collided with the prudery of Adele’s hosting software. Nah!

jouissons en ensemble is the French text to the clip. The verb ‘jouir’ has the meaning you’d imply, particulary after those clips and the following words (in French) about millions of passionate lovers of cinema.
