This clip from “Ally McBeal” is pretty old, but I’m very fond of it. It illustrates one of about a million wrong ways to broach the subject of spanking with your vanilla girlfriend.

    I remember when this scene showed on the show. The actor who gave the spanking said that during taping of the spanking they broke about 6 fake fanny’s. They of course used a fake fanny, during the spanking. Even though no ass was shown. The spanking had to look real. So he hit a fake fanny over her cloths.

    Earlier in the episode he’d overheard her telling a girlfriend about how she fantisized about spankings, so he had some reason to think she’d be receptive. Still, not a good idea to ambush someone with a hairbrush spanking.

    I remember this episode when it aired, as well. It was pretty funny in the context of the show–and as an individual scene.

    I remember seeing this as well. The conversation Nelle had with Ling was quite spot on, as far as spanko lingo is concerned. But the actual scene made me cringe! I can only imagine having the delicious fantasies I’d had, and then that being my introduction to spanking — blech! :-)
