International Blogger Appreciation Day
Scenology — By Adele on 14 April, 2008 12:21 pmAlthough I’m loathe to participate in flash-mob events, I got inspired this morning by a post on Darren Rowse’s Problogger.
The idea is simple: if you enjoy reading a blog, write to its author and tell her so. It’s a good thing to do on any day, because positive feedback makes the blogging worthwhile, but it can’t hurt to have an extra push.
I’m not soliciting correspondence here, by the way. On the contrary: I encourage you to say something nice to a blogger who is not me. Go on, it’ll make you feel good.
If you’re a blogger yourself, you may even do it in a post.
On my part, I’d like to give a shout-out to Lina of Uncool, who has started the ball rolling on the Feminist Carnival of Sexual Freedom and Autonomy, and therefore rocks.

Thank you! :)
I Love your blog, Adele. It has been an inspiration to me for some time now. I have supported Feminism all of my life (an only child to a widowed mum from age 11). I experienced the struggle first hand and learned to appreciate and respect women early on. I am one of the lucky ones.
Thank you so much for being so bold and willing to share your heart. I love you AND your beautiful bottom (how could I not?…I’m a man.

Blogger Appreciation Day!
Thanks for bringing up interesting points, essays, vids & pics, and a note of appreciation as well to some of the regular commenters, who are interesting as well.
Good show – keep it rolling!
A few days late, but Adele, you are not only fun and flirty and all that good stuff, but also witty, which is much appreciated — I love reading your blog.
Dear Adele,
I think it is a lovely idea to encourage messages of appreciation and this is a heartfelt one from me to you and to Mr Haze for the fine work that you do.
Your blog never fails to entertain and with Msses Flynn, Woodley, Whitaker and of course Rutherford you have formed as delightful and refreshing a writer’s circle (school) as one might encounter anywhere on the web.
Thank you,
Vogel- but I am afraid, from time to time, delightful as you are, correction can only enhance your evident charms.
