Janus Magazine in XXI century?
Scenology — By Adele on 10 October, 2007 9:56 pmLeia-Ann has interesting news about Janus, the eminent spanking magazine. (That would be the paper, print and colourful pictures thing your Uncle Charles had to buy before they invented spanking websites.)
Apparently, Janus has not only started to offer, along with the paper copy of the magazine, a CD with all the photos included therein, but is asking the readers for input about what they what the CDs to be like in the future.
I’m extremely curious about where this is going to lead. The digital age hasn’t been kind to print porn, but I for one would be sad to see old, familiar print media in the spanking genre disappear completely.
Although I think that Web editions are ultimately the way to go, with the print edition being an optional extra, I want to see where Janus’s imagination is going to take them.

Applaud Janus’ intentions. For subscribers, it will be different of course, but I think they will still be up against the way that web content avoids your Uncle Charles’ tilted down hat and sunglasses which are deployed to cover embarrassment at purchasing print porn?

Honestly (switches into moaning old bottom mode) you young spankee’s these days, just type spanking into a search engine and away you go. I had to catch a bus and two trains to get to the nearest place that sold spanking porn when I was your age. Wanted to make contacts, you had to learn the code words to look out for in the personals in vanilla papers. Only place you could buy canes was in a school uniform shop, mind you they where better quality and cheaper than nowadays. Yeah yeah yeah, and you had to walk 50 miles to school… in the snow… uphill… both ways. We’ve heard it all before.
