Music Video Schoolgirls Strike Again

The most recent Gwen Stefani song “Wind It Up” has the following amusing features:

  • dancers dressed as schoolgirls and boys (some girls are wearing grey gymslips and some have tartan)
  • Gwen waving around a riding crop
  • Gwen handcuffed to an iron gate
  • pretend schoolgirls showing their white panties as they dance

The song itself is a rather attrocious remix of a “Sound of Music” yodelling number, but who cares. You can watch it right here. (I even went and figured out how to embed YouTube videos; let me know if anything isn’t working).

    Hey Babe,

It works fine, that was sexy and funny as hell.
I guess I’m gonna have to buy that CD for sure!

    Thanks Adele,

    Razor

LOL Not at all. I’m here for your kinky media needs :)

The yodelling is just WRONG! LOL I prefer the boy band one (U Stood Up?) where one boy is picked on by the others for drawing a picture of the girl he fancies. There’s some bullying and then a nice shot of a door that says “HEADMASTER” and two boys sulking outside. Niiiiiice!

I clicked on the wrong play button.
The right one is the one to the left.
    Cute video!

  6. Adele says:

Niki – hmm, no idea what you’re talking about, but it sounds cute

Cul – three whacks for scaring me with allegations of faultiness!

Hmm, this reminds me of younger Madonna. She’s always borderline kinky. I remember always watching Human Nature video (I think that’s what the song’s called) and feeling uncomfortable. :)

Who writes this stuff? And who designs these videos? They are both… shallow, even by music (and even music video IMHO) standards.

  9. Adele says:

Amber: Oh, that’s right; I hadn’t thought of Madonna, but now you mention it – yes, Gwen does aim to score some Madonna points…

Robert: I don’t know who does it, but I bet they’re richer than you and I :)
