There’s an interesting discussion brewing (or at least, I hope it’s brewing, rather than fizzling out) in the comments to my post “Dire Caning Technique”. It could sure use some more opinions – basically, because right now I’m far from sure I’m actually right, and if I’m not, I’d like to be shown so.
