I agree with everything that Tommy Chong had to say. Whether he was joking or not. Especially the spanking part. If they had more corporal punishment for misdemeanors there’d be less misdemenors. Just look at Singapour. They have way less misdemeanors per capita than almost anywhere.
On another note, sijnce Tommy is the father of Rai Down Chong (sp), what was her discipline life like when growing up. Since he seems to be into spanking.
Stephen Colbert is amazing. He’s like… a comedy news guy. :) I saw that the other day and all I could say was “That was amazing.”

I’m one of your American lurkers, and I very much enjoy your site. Thanks. Anyway, Tommy Chong is an actor who made a number of stoner movies in the seventies and eighties. Stephen Colbert, the guy interviewing him, hosts a fake news show which mocks the political pundants who plague the airwaves here in the U.S. The American news media has deteriorated to the point where we just follow Paris Hilton all day and interview anyone famous that is willing to talk about her. Even if that celebrity is completely irrelevent to the story being covered. Chong and Colbert were calling them on it. Hope that was helpful.
All I got to say is, Singapour? Thats gotta be a misdemenor right there.

Hello Adele, I’m just another lurker from the Conch Republic (Forida Keys). Apart from wanting to see Paris getting a spankin’ there is a breif scene in one of the Cheech and Chong films, possibly “Still Smoking” where Tommy Chong is freaking out while staring into a mirror while high on acid and a beautiful girl gives him a crack on the butt with a bull whip. He spins around before he realizes who hit him and indignantly says “hey man, I’m trippin’!” Come to think of it there are other subtle hints of kinky sex in their movies as well.
I also remember a breif radio play by Cheech & Chong where in Chong plays a stoned teenager that gets spanked for not getting up to go to school. It got a lot of airtime in the seventies and I think the skit was called “Ear ache my eye!”
