Music videos, Video Clips — By Adele on 10 May, 2010 7:37 pmI find myself compelled to post this music video (“Geboren um zu leben” by Unheilig) not because it has a specific spanking incident, but because it illustrates with painful perfection what sort of thing fuelled my spanking fantasies when I was a kid (as discussed on SpankingCast Ep. 4). Obviously, I imagine myself playing the role of Our Brave Persecuted Hero (aged 10), but it’s not just the persecution (personified by the evil guardian) that makes the fantasy for me. It’s also the presence of the Faithful Friend and Companion: the sharing of suffering, triumphs and inevitable punishment, having somebody to care and ache for, to rely on – even if all you can do for each other is hold hands when the belt swishes down, as you’re punished together.
It’s a strange idea, and I’ve never thought about this before, but apparently, friendship is a very important part of my kink.

I’m definitely with you here. It’s not essential to my enjoyment of a scene, but I’d say more of of my fantasies involve having a companion in adversity than not. I guess it’s because my fantasies tend to be “undeserved” – if I had more of a genuine discipline kink, rather than a “persecuted by villains” kink, perhaps solitude would be more important. As it is, my imagined self tends to be isolated at the start of the horribleness that ensues, but then befriends a fellow victim, and ultimately our friendship transcends the dreadful things we have to endure…
God, I clearly read far too many Victorian novels as a kid.
By the time I saw your post the first clip was immobilised and the second image or clip had been replaced by an error message.

I’m with you and Pandora, a friend and companion makes everything that much more poignant. I’m reminded of a Canadian re-make of the movie The Little Kidnappers, which fueled a lot of early fantasies about adventure and danger and adversity. The two litle boys in it get into a lot of trouble together and bicker, but are always there to help each other out.
There IS a very scary spanking scene in it. (Angry Scottish Charlton Heston!) It happens off screen, so you can only hear it, but that kind of makes it scarier.
