Anyway, this is a scene from the film Class of 1999, where robot teachers are placed in schools to rein in rioting teenagers.

Teacher androids, hmm… Another interesting variation on the spanking machine theme. “Android/m” is probably the right classification.
I wonder when we will see “M/android” or “F/android”. If I remember correctly, there was no such scene in “Cherry 2000″. Pity, really. We’ll have to remake that little sci-fi gem as a proper CP movie, then. How about it, Adele? Starring you as the pleasure model “naughty maid” android? Or as a whole series of androids, with identical looks but different costumized “personalities”. You could even take yet another additional role as the human female whom the android model’s looks were originally based on… And she doesn’t approve! Or something like that.
Of course, the question that really interests me in this context is, could a machine feel pain? Could it have phenomenal consciousness, what philosophers call “qualia”, the subjective content of experience? Some scholars argue that it is impossible in principle, others say it’s possible, others say that we couldn’t ever possibly know.
The Terminator said: “I sense injuries. The corresponding data could be called pain.” But his reactions in the movies weren’t very satisfactory for me as a sadist, I must say. “Adele 3000″ would have to do better.
On second thoughts, I wonder what a “costumized [sic] personality” is. Ah well. Too late at night for this kind of intellectual wankery, it seems.

Ludwig, you know, I would enjoy that, the Barbarella scenario. It’s all part of my favoured theme of mind control, I suppose.
And of course the girldroid would feel pain; it’s no fun for the spanker otherwise!
“Girldroid”, that’s the right word. Thanks! “Android” arguably applies only to robots resembling men. See, I got it all wrong.
“Gynoid” could also be used, but sounds a bit awkward, I think. “Girldroid” is better. Or how about “fembot”? :)
