Spanking Meryl Streep?

I don’t remember seeing it at the time, but apparently at the 2003 Bafta Awards Mz. Meryl was trying to say:

I would like to thank director Spike Jonze

Guess what she actually did say, instead of thank. Go on, guess. Really.

I might be the last person on the planet to have seen this wonderful piece of tongue-slipping, but it’s made me go all happy and dreamy. Obviously, I’m more spankable than silly ol’ Spike Jonze, and I’m into it. Wouldn’t she like to spank me instead?
