The Perfect Fetish Photo

This picture of Charlotte Church comes from last week’s Guardian, where it had no attribution. It’s a pity. I’d very much like to know who the photographer was, and whether she was aware just how many fetishes she was indulging with a single click of the shutter.

Just look at it:

Red high heels, one foot encased in the shoe, toes peeping out from under the bow; the other shoe discarded under the chair, sole out towards the appreciative shoe fetishist.

One foot unshod and vulnerable, pressing into the carpet; foot fetishists are licking their lips.

Long, lean legs are demurely crossed, teasing the leg lover.

Not so demure are the fishnets, speeding up the stocking lover’s heartbeat.

The curve of her buttocks promises a tantalising sight, were she to stand and bend over for a swish of the cane.

Going up. Ample cleavage, breasts pushed right up; she is leaning forward towards anybody who’ll appreciate the sight.

Red mouth – open, surely, for you.

How much thinking has gone into this, I wonder, and how much was pure instinct on the parts of the photographer, the producer, the singer, or whoever is responsible for photographs that go inside an album sleeve?

I can’t think of anything else that could be added to the picture without making it actually unfit to publish in the Guardian. Make her hair wet from the shower, perhaps?

    Anyway…

    Yeah, the Charlotte Church photo is a gem. There was controversy a few years ago when Miss Church won the UK’s Rear Of The Year – the controversy being that she was 15 years’ old at the time of winning. (I don’t think Rear Of The Year is a particularly prestigious accolade, however: previous winners have included the comedian Frank Skinner, and to be brutally honest Frank Skinner’s bottom does nothing for me.)

    Just stumble onto your blog – its great! I enjoy reading your entries, and the subject matter is also of interest. When I saw the picture I did not realize it was Charlotte. I’m in the states, and about the only exposure she gets is on public broadcasting of her Christmas specials. I haven’t seen her in a long time, and she certainly isn’t the girl she was then. She was cute then, now she’s hot! I enjoyed your analysis of the picture – its right on target and hits all of my fetishes (feet, legs, shoes, hosiery).

    Niko, this is a promotional picture from her latest album, so I would imagine it’ll have a million of copyright notices on it. I wouldn’t use it for flyers if I were you.

    This is the best copy I have, scanned from a newspaper, so not sure where you’d get a better copy.

    OMG – I can’t believe I haven’t seen this picture before – Ok, I haven’t bought any of her albums -yet. Have been reading your blog which was linked from Ladys Spanking Blog – really enjoying the content .
    Re the image, you have broken it down perfectly – and this was definately incredibly well thought out – even the other props are indicative – the leather chair that looks like it comes from a St. James’ club where establishment ‘gentlemen’ go – an authoritative image of the sort of people that love to be either side of the spank – also her bed head hair, toussled … amazing . Is she taking her shoes off or putting them back on. Either way this picture she has worn them once tonight already and isn’t just going out for the night
