Women Can’t be Into Spanking, Right?
Rants, Raves and Reviews, Scenology — By Adele on 12 February, 2007 4:14 pmWrong, obviously, and I’m not sure how I’ve ended up talking about it for the second post in a row, but it looks like discussions about men being the weirdo spanking enthusiasts, and women being innocently pulled along, come in pairs.
Aunty Agony posted a YouTube video by a v-logger who holds this view. The woman in question has been getting spammed with links to spanking paysites, and her video post is a reaction to that. She has put two and two together and got thirty-six: she has decided that since spanking exists in porn, it’s something that only men could possibly be into. The perverts that they are.
Of course, this idea is laughable for anybody who has spent five seconds in any spanking-related community, or even typed spanking into Google (British Spanking forum comes up top at the moment… guess what, it’s full of women). However, for as long as the question comes up, I think it’s worth repeating: Yes, women can fantasise about spanking. No, men are not the only ones into spanking.
Yes, I’m sure.

I will refrain from my own disparaging comments and say that you left a very intelligent comment there, Adele. Sadly, I don’t think it will get much notice, but it was worth a try.
Geeez, some people are stupid. Oh, wait, I said I wasn’t going to be disparaging. Bad me.
I know it can get annoying, Erica… But I honestly don’t think that getting annoyed is the best possible reaction. I don’t think she means any insult – I can imagine making similar off-hand remarks about a seemingly odd fetish I’d never come across before.
However, saying “You’re wrong” loudly and often is clearly a public service :)
Grrrrr….. I should probably just stick with a “wot she said” reply under yours and Erica’s because that ignorant cow really pissed me off. But I won’t. My own personal vendetta isn’t so much against the “OMG, women can’t like spanking – that’s like, undoing years of feminism and stuff!” brigade as much as against the “OMG, you’re perpetuating the suffering of actual victims by having dark fantasies” brigade. They’re shades of the same rainbow, though. What’s most annoying is the mocking tone she uses in describing the schoolgirl scene. If it ain’t your kink, don’t bloody do it! But don’t insult and mock the people who are into it.
Sorry. It’s a touchy subject for me. In case you hadn’t guessed. :-(

I don’t think vanillas have a concept of “your kink is OK although it’s not my kink”. Hell, some spankos struggle with the concept.

When i first saw this I came away thinking it is a set up, a clever marketing early adoptors awareness campaign ad for spanking to arouse more curiosity, and would soon be followed by her representing a new spanking website with the hottest “schoolgirl” model in the scene lol!!
Then I saw Happy Hag’s other clips and saw how self opinionated she is in “tough love” when she talks about “these people” and gives her “gospel according to”. I now think she is a time traveller from the early 60′s who has led a very sheltered white bread middle class existance.She obviously doesn’t understand much about the real world and is as god-fearingly streetwise as a victorian mormon lay preacher!
I’m almost tempted to ask if i can rent or buy her barn in france for spanking movies just to really get her back up lol!!

When women are into spanking they like to be the ones who are spanked while when men are into spanking they like to spank. Sure there’s exceptions to that but that is how it is 90 percent of the time.
