The very last Woody Woodpecker cartoon in 1972 which I’ve only seen a few stills of has Woody getting spanked in a little red schoolhouse across the knee of his teacher Mrs Meany. I’m really annoyed at the way these creepy weirdo censors with neurotic phobias about cartoon spankings keep getting them pulled out of cyberspace to sit collecting dust on shelves. If somebody has a shoe fetish they don’t go yanking all the images of shoes off the web to repress their temptation to go buy a pair of shoes
every time they see a picture of one. In the American Revolution we shot people for trying to censor what they didn’t want anyone to see. If anyone wants censorship, move to Saudi Arabia.

There was a Tex Avery cartoon featuring three Droopies at school. They were up to no good, so the teacher decided to take care of the problem the good old-fashion way.

The look of the Droopy look-alike over the teacher’s knee is absolutely priceless.

I recall the Woody Woodpecker cartoons as being very spanky indeed.. I seem to remember one in which Woody put magnets in the back pocket of his nemesis (a bear I think) and there were firey hot rivets in the workplace and they started flying through the air, pulled by the magnets. The rivets “spanked” the bear by making contact with the bears bottom repeatedly as the bear ran.

i actually owned this cartoon on a collection of woody woodpecker videos.

it’s a “little red riding hood” type skit, and a the end, woody has chased away the big bad wolf. He tells grandma (proudly) and she replies something along the lines of, “what?? i’ve been trying to get that wolf in my house for YEARS!”

and wow, the voiceover folks totally botched woody’s laugh… (it’s turned into a sob at the end fo this toon, but still)

this reminded me of all the spanking i witnessed in cartoons when i was younger (i remember seeing that donald duck one – poor penguin!). betty boop used to have a lot of spanking in it from what i remember, altho it was mostly aimed at her dog. found a clip on youtube (i’m not sure if it’s ok to put urls on here – sorry, if not)
